Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Stoop platform. By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the platform.
1. Definitions
"Stoop," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Stoop Staffing and its operators.
"Platform" refers to the Stoop mobile application and any related services.
"Rep" refers to a door-to-door sales representative seeking placement.
"TL" or "Team Lead" refers to a company or individual seeking to hire Reps.
"User" refers to any person who creates an account on the Platform, whether a Rep or TL.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
The Platform is intended for use within the United States. Users outside the United States access the Platform at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
3. Platform Role
Stoop operates as an intermediary marketplace connecting Reps with TLs. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or employment placement service. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the availability of work, or the suitability of any Rep or TL.
Any hiring relationship formed through the Platform is solely between the Rep and the TL. Stoop is not a party to that relationship and has no liability arising from it.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Each user may hold only one account. Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts is prohibited and may result in immediate termination.
5. On-Platform Communication
All communication between Reps and TLs must remain within the Stoop Platform until a hire is formally confirmed. Sharing personal contact information — including phone numbers, email addresses, or links to external messaging platforms — prior to a confirmed hire is prohibited.
Stoop automatically detects and obscures contact information shared in chat. Repeated attempts to circumvent this restriction may result in account suspension.
6. Subscriptions and Payment
During the current launch period, all TL participants receive full platform access at no charge. Stoop reserves the right to introduce paid subscription tiers in a future update, with reasonable advance notice to existing users.
Once paid tiers are introduced, TL access to candidate matching, messaging, and hiring tools will be governed by the subscription tier selected. Rep access to the Platform remains free.
All payments, where applicable, will be processed through a third-party payment provider. Stoop does not store payment card information. Refund eligibility will be governed by the subscription terms presented at the time of purchase.
7. Prohibited Conduct and Content
These rules apply to everything you submit to Stoop — profile information, photos, banner images, video pitches, team headlines, free-text industry fields, direct messages, and any other content or conduct on the Platform. We have zero tolerance for the categories listed below and will remove accounts for violations.
Users may not:
- Post or share sexually explicit content, nudity, or any material that sexualizes minors (which will be reported to law enforcement)
- Post or share content that promotes violence, threats of harm, or terrorism
- Post hate speech or content that attacks, degrades, or discriminates against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or bully other users — including through direct messages, video pitches, or profile content
- Impersonate another person, company, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information in profiles or listings — including inflated earnings claims, misrepresented experience, or fake companies
- Use the Platform to send spam, unsolicited advertising, chain messages, or scams
- Post content that is illegal, infringes someone else's intellectual property, or otherwise violates the law
- Solicit or accept payment outside the Platform for hires made through Stoop, in order to circumvent platform terms
- Take introductions, leads, or relationships formed through the Platform off-platform to avoid these Terms
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit any part of the Platform or its matching algorithms
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
8. Reporting and Moderation
Users may report inappropriate content, harassment, spam, impersonation, or any other conduct that violates these Terms directly from the app — through the menu on any profile, by long-pressing a message, or from the playback controls on any pitch video.
Every report is reviewed by a human within 24 hours of submission. We may, at our sole discretion, warn, suspend, or permanently remove any account found to be in violation of these Terms, and we may remove any content that violates our rules.
Users may also block other users directly from their profile. Blocked parties are hidden from each other in discovery, candidate queues, and messaging. Blocks can be removed at any time from Settings.
9. Rep and TL Responsibilities
Reps are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their profile, experience claims, and availability information. Misrepresentation of qualifications may result in account termination.
TLs are responsible for ensuring their listings comply with applicable employment laws, including but not limited to laws governing independent contractor classification, pay disclosures, and non-discrimination. Stoop does not review listings for legal compliance.
10. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, features, algorithms, and content created by Stoop, is the exclusive property of Stoop Staffing and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
By submitting content to the Platform — including profile information, photos, videos, and messages — you grant Stoop a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
11. Privacy
Rep last names and contact information are not disclosed to TLs prior to a confirmed hire. Upon hire, Reps may choose to share their contact details at their sole discretion.
Our collection, use, and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Stoop does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any user-provided content.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STOOP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF EARNINGS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
Stoop is not liable for the accuracy of user-provided profile or listing information, employment outcomes, disputes between Reps and TLs, or any actions taken by users on or off the Platform.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stoop and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.
15. Termination
Stoop reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Stoop, or third parties.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings menu. Upon deletion, your profile data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
